1) Corporate Partner Search
TLC can serve as an extension of any CBOs marketing capabilities by helping CBOs find suitable corporate partners to work with. This will increase your ability to access financial, material and human resources. All our matching services are free of charge to the CBO as the consultancy fees are borne by the corporate body.
2) Capability Building
TLC is determined to be part of the process of raising the level of professionalism for CBOs. Currently we offer the following programs:

- a. Project Management for CBOs
- This tailor-made program combines training and organisational development. Your staff will receive training on the main components of sound project management. They will then apply these components to the specific needs of the CBO. The application is then laid down in a project management manual that is tailored specifically for your needs to ensure knowledge is retained and owned.
- b. Volunteer Management
- TLC believes in the power of volunteers. However, when not harnessed properly, volunteers can result in more chaos and difficulty rather than add value to your organisation. The volunteer management workshop is designed as 1-2 day workshop depending on the area to be covered and the tools/exercise provided will help attract, motivate, manage and retain volunteers.
- c. Community Relationship Building
- This is a workshop to further develop the skills of the CBO representative to enter a community and engage with that community via open and healthy dialogue and collaboration. This workshop seeks to give a structure and framework that can be applied in a multi-sector setting in a respectful and competent manner.
- d. CBO Management Revisited
- This is an intensive 3-day programme where managers, supervisors or those with the aspiration to fulfil this role within a short while are made familiar with all major functional management areas such as strategic management, resource management, people management, operations management, and quality control and marketing.
- e. Strategic Evaluation
- A two-day interactive action oriented workshop, including a post workshop consultative session (within 2 months after the workshop) in which participants learn to assess their own organisation objectively, identify areas for improvement and develop a feasible plan to resolve problem areas expeditiously.
3) Project Management
TLC can help CBOs to implement an idea or a program when they lack the capacity themselves. We can help with proposal writing to help attain funds, help develop the program, implement it, evaluate the impact and report the results.
